- Are you feeling extra stressed?
- Is your self esteem more unstable than usual?
- Do you have a lack of confidence?
- Do you have thoughts of worthlessness, helplessness or hopelessness?
- Are you feeling more fearful?
- Are you having difficulty changing problemmatic behavior?
- Are you struggling with relationships?
At different times of our lives, we might struggle with various levels of distress and confusion. Psychotherapy can help shift these experiences to explore the opportunities that are available by examining patterns and obstacles that prevent us from realizing our potential and getting the most out of life.
I have over 30 years experience dealing with severe and persistent mental illness as well as counseling people with transitional crisis and PTSD issues. If you are suffering from persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness or helplessness, therapy can be of benefit to you. In addition, counseling can help change undesired habits by examining what needs are supporting these habits and finding more effective ways of addressing them.
In working with couples, I focus on helping with communication skills, clarifying expectations and increase problem solving. Marriage therapy can help prevent reoccurring conflicts and open new doors for communication with your parnter.
If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I welcome the opportunity to work with you to assist you in achieving your goals.
Please call or email me for an individual, couples or family therapy consultation today.
